In 2006 we celebrated sixty years of dedication to quality, manufacturing excellence and
innovation producing quality metal fabrication for the industry.
Dunkirk Metal Products was originally established in 1946, stamping metal products
for local industries, designing and building its own dies. The company continued to
design and produce metal products in all shapes and sizes for various industries.
In 2006 we celebrated sixty years of dedication to quality, manufacturing excellence and
innovation producing quality metal fabrication for the industry.
Dunkirk Metal Products was originally established in 1946, stamping metal products
for local industries, designing and building its own dies. The company continued to
design and produce metal products in all shapes and sizes for various industries.
In 1967 the company moved it's headquarters to our
current location. This also initiated an extended period of marketing and
growth resulting in
the expansion into multiple facilities providing a wide spectrum of metal fabricating, processing and distribution services.
Since 1994 the company has tripled its volume by expanding markets geographically, extending its capabilities through the acquisition
of state of the art metal working equipment, and securing additional space for its growing manufacturing services.
In 2005 following extensive research and development, while considering the high demand for alternative energy
and renewable resource orientated products, Dunkirk Metal Products expanded its corporate mandate
to include manufacturing it's own proprietary products.
In the fall of 2006 Dunkirk Metal Products launched a wholly owned subsidiary Alternative Fuel Boilers with it's
main product brand and line the Econoburn™ gasification wood boiler.
The Econoburn™ patent-pending wood boilers utilize gasification burning technology to get an amazing 87% thermal
efficiency from traditional wood fuel sources. Due to it's high efficiency combustion, heat exchange is maximized,
while carbon emissions are minimized.
By integrating the best of available gasification burning technologies and fuel efficiency with ISO 9001 : 2000 Certified
standards Alternative Fuel Boilers presently manufactures the best built wood boilers in North America.
The launch of the Econoburn™ wood boiler line was an instant success, with the soaring prices of fossil fuels
supporting consumer interest and demand for cheaper and more efficient heating alternatives.
Following the successful launch of the Econoburn™
wood boiler line, addressing the consumer
demand for wall mounted storage and organization products, in 2008 Dunkirk Metal Products launched
a second subsidiary, Fold A Way Storage Systems. These products offer a revolutionary and unique
patent pending drop down mechanism, freeing up space when the units are folded back up.
Presently extensive dealership networks have been set up for both subsidiaries. Aggressive marketing initiatives should ensure continued projected consumer demand and growth for Alternative Fuel Boilers
and Fold A Way Storage Systems.
